70L Built-in Electric Oven

It carries eight cooking functions, a convection fan among them, worked from two mechanical knobs — one for temperature, one for the function — with a digital timer and its keys set between them on the fascia. The dial runs from 50 to 250 °C, and a 1200 W grill element in the roof browns and finishes a dish.

It is built for a standard 60 cm housing unit: the opening wants to be 600 mm wide and 600 mm high with 595 mm of depth behind it, and the oven runs on an ordinary 220-240 V AC supply, drawing at most 2800 W. A wire rack and an enamelled drip pan come with it.

• 70 Litre Cavity

  A full 70 litre oven in the standard 60 cm built-in width, so it drops into an ordinary tall housing unit without a special cabinet.

• Eight Functions, Fan Included

  Eight cooking settings on the function knob, one of them a convection fan that moves the heat around the cavity instead of leaving it to sit at the top. Top, bottom, grill and fan elements between them.

• Grills as Well as Bakes

  A separate grill element rated 1200 W sits in the roof of the cavity, so the oven browns and finishes a dish without needing a second appliance.

• 50 to 250 °C on a Dial

  Temperature is a mechanical knob you turn straight to the number you want, across the range an ordinary recipe asks for. Nothing to step through before the oven comes on.

• Enamel Cavity, Two-Layer Door

  The cavity is enamelled so it wipes down rather than scrubs, and the door is glazed twice, which keeps the outer pane cooler and the heat where the food is.

• Fits a Standard 60 cm Housing

  The cabinet opening wants to be 600 mm wide and 600 mm high with 595 mm of depth behind it. The oven itself measures 595 mm high, 595 mm wide and 500 mm deep.

• Black Glass Front

  A black glass door and fascia with a brushed metal bar handle, so it sits flat in a run with a black hob above it.
