Infrared Cooker

Power and temperature run across ten stages on a row of push buttons along the front edge. Buttons rather than a touch strip means the cooker stays workable with wet hands, and the LED display keeps the current setting and the timer in view.

A three-hour timer, a child lock, and overheat and overflow protection cover the everyday risks. It runs on ordinary 220–240V household power through a 1.5 m lead and a fitted BS 3-pin plug.

• 2000W Infrared Heating

  It heats by infrared element rather than induction, so the pots already in the kitchen work on it. Ceramic, glass, stainless steel, aluminium — nothing special to buy.

• Six Cooking Modes

  Steam, Heating, BBQ, Warm, Hot Pot and Stir-Fry each have their own indicator lamp on the panel, so you can see what the cooker is set to without reading a number.

• Ten Power Levels

  A 10-stage power and temperature scale, so the same plate holds a bare simmer or drives a full rolling boil.

• Push-Button Control

  Physical buttons along the front edge rather than a touch strip. They keep working with wet or floury hands.

• Three-Hour Timer

  Set the cooker to run for up to three hours and switch itself off, so a slow pot does not need watching.

• Child Lock

  Locks the panel so a stray press cannot change the setting or bring the plate on.

• Overheat and Overflow Protection

  The element cuts out if the plate runs too hot or a pot boils over onto the panel.

• 26 × 26 cm Crystal Plate

  An A-grade unpolished black crystal panel that wipes down flat, with no rim to trap what spills.
