Infrared Cooker

The knob is the difference. Power runs across ten stages, and with a dial you can move through them by feel while your eyes stay on the pan, instead of looking down to find the right pad.

A three-hour timer, a child lock, and overheat and overflow protection cover the everyday risks. It runs on ordinary 220–240V household power through a 1.5 m lead and a fitted BS 3-pin plug.

• Touch and Knob Together

  A rotary knob for power alongside the touch pad, so a setting can be dialled in by feel without looking down at the panel.

• Steel Frame and Carry Handles

  The glass sits in a stainless steel surround with a handle at each end, so the cooker can be lifted to the table or outside while it is still warm.

• Four Cooking Presets

  Fry, BBQ, Soup and Hot Pot sit on the touch pad next to the timer, with the knob for everything in between.

• 2000W Infrared Heating

  It heats by infrared element rather than induction, so the pots already in the kitchen work on it. Ceramic, glass, stainless steel, aluminium — nothing special to buy.

• Ten Power Levels

  A 10-stage power and temperature scale, so the same plate holds a bare simmer or drives a full rolling boil.

• 36 × 28 cm Crystal Plate

  A landscape plate, wider than it is deep, which suits a frying pan or a wide pot better than a square panel does.

• Three-Hour Timer

  Set the cooker to run for up to three hours and switch itself off, so a slow pot does not need watching.

• Child Lock

  Locks the panel so a stray press cannot change the setting or bring the plate on.

• Overheat and Overflow Protection

  The element cuts out if the plate runs too hot or a pot boils over onto the panel.
